The project to transform the busy Groveport Road and Alum Creek Drive intersection, just south of I-270, into a modern highway interchange involves the following improvements:
- Construction of a flyover bridge and bypass roadway, south of Groveport Road, that will include roundabouts located east and west of Alum Creek Drive
- Widening of Alum Creek Drive immediately north and south of Groveport Road
- Construction of storm sewers, curbing, gutters, driveway aprons, sidewalks, multiuse paths, median strips, and guardrail
